Decorative Wall Finishes Auckland

Concrete, stone-look, lime/stucco, metallic, pearl, rust, and sand-texture feature walls for Auckland homes and commercial interiors.

Designer surface finishes

Feature walls with depth, movement, texture, and a premium hand-applied look.

Decorative finishes are ideal when a painted wall should become part of the room design. We prepare the surface, build a sample direction, then apply layered texture and colour for the selected effect.

  • Concrete effect and cement-look feature walls
  • Stone-look, granite fleck, and natural mineral-style finishes
  • Limewash, stucco, trowelled texture, and soft plaster movement
  • Metallic, pearl, rust, patina, and sand-texture accent finishes
  • Clear coat, wax, or sealer recommendations where suitable

Consultation map

Finish families and sample codes we can use to guide customer choices.

These sample families help customers compare look, texture, and suitable areas before we prepare a real project sample. They are service references, not a claim that NH Land is reselling any specific overseas brand.

Oxidised steel, copper, and aged wall looks for hospitality, studios, feature panels, bars, and industrial interiors.

Stucco and stone systems

Texture choices for walls, columns, counters, fireplaces, and display areas.

Stucco and stone-look finishes need more surface review than standard paint. We check flatness, corners, movement, moisture risk, and whether the area needs a clear protective coat.

Stucco natural stone effects

Stone, limestone, sandstone, split stone, ancient stone, and travertine-style movement for architectural walls and feature surfaces.

Customer advice

How we recommend the right effect for Auckland projects.

Decorative finishes are more sensitive to preparation, lighting, and sealers than standard paint, so we qualify the wall before promising a system.

For interior feature walls

Concrete, limewash, pearl, and soft stucco are usually the easiest to live with. They suit media walls, bedrooms, entry walls, salons, and offices.

For high-impact commercial spaces

Rust, bronze metallic, granite, and strong stucco lines work well for cafes, bars, reception counters, studios, and retail display backdrops.

For columns and exterior-facing areas

Stone-look and granite-style systems need careful substrate review, primer compatibility, edge detailing, access planning, and a suitable clear coat.

Best for

Auckland homes and commercial interiors that need a memorable focal point.

  • Living rooms, media walls, fireplaces, and entry walls
  • Cafes, bars, salons, studios, offices, and retail backdrops
  • Columns, counters, reception desks, niches, and display areas
  • Rental or pre-sale upgrades where one wall can change the feel of a room
  • Brand colour accents and premium reception spaces

Sample-first process

We confirm the surface before quoting the final finish.

  • Inspect substrate, lighting, access, moisture risk, and existing coatings
  • Repair, skim, sand, mask, and prime as needed
  • Agree texture level, colour direction, and sample reference
  • Apply the base coat, hand-trowelled effect coats, and controlled movement
  • Finish with wax, clear coat, or sealer when the selected system requires it

Decorative wall finishes are quoted after substrate review. Wet areas and exterior use are only recommended where the chosen system, sealer, ventilation, and surface conditions are suitable for Auckland conditions. Vietnamese supplier prices and coverage rates are only useful as material-system references; Auckland quotes depend on access, labour, preparation, sample work, and imported/local material availability.
